1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to JOOT, the equipment management system operated by JOT Equipment, LLC. By accessing or using the JOOT system located at app.jackofoiltrades.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Description of Services

JOOT is a business-to-business equipment management platform that provides:

• Equipment Rental Management
• Customer Management
• Invoicing & Payments
• Equipment Tracking
• Logistics Coordination
• Financial Integration via Plaid

3. User Accounts

You agree to provide accurate information, maintain password security, and accept responsibility for all activities under your account.

4. Financial Services & Plaid

We use Plaid Inc. to enable bank account linking. By using these features, you authorize Plaid to access your financial account information and agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Request deletion by emailing privacy@jackofoiltrades.com. We respond within 30 days.

6. SMS/Text Messaging Communications

6.1 Consent to Receive SMS Messages

By providing your mobile phone number during onboarding (employees) or account setup (vendors/contractors) and checking the consent box, you expressly agree to receive SMS text messages from JOT Equipment, LLC related to equipment management operations, including but not limited to job assignments, dispatch notifications, scheduling updates, equipment requests, and account activity.

6.2 Types of Messages

Messages we send include:

• Dispatch and delivery notifications
• Job assignment and scheduling updates
• Equipment rental requests and availability inquiries
• Operational alerts and urgent job changes
• Account and payment notifications

We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising text messages.

6.3 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your role and active operations. Employees and drivers may receive multiple messages per day during active dispatch. Vendors and contractors receive messages as relevant to equipment requests and account activity.

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time:

• Reply STOP to any text message from us to immediately unsubscribe
• Reply HELP to any text message for assistance

After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message. No further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe by replying START or contacting us.

6.6 SMS Privacy

Your phone number and SMS data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, share, or disclose your phone number or SMS consent to third parties for marketing purposes. SMS data is used solely for the operational purposes described in this section.

7. Payment Terms

Payment terms are Net 30 unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may be subject to 1.5% monthly fees.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes shall be resolved in Ector County, Texas.
