JOT Equipment, LLC ("JOOT") uses SMS (Short Message Service) text messaging to communicate with employees, vendors, contractors, and drivers as part of our equipment management operations.

Job Assignments: Dispatch notifications, delivery and pickup assignments

Equipment Requests: Sub-rental requests, availability inquiries

How We Obtain Your Consent

                We only send SMS messages to individuals who have provided explicit consent.
                Employees: During onboarding, you are presented with a consent form that clearly states: "By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS notifications about job assignments, scheduling, and important updates from JOT Equipment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe." You must check a consent box before submitting.
Vendors/Contractors: During account setup, you are presented with a consent statement: "By entering your phone number, you agree to receive SMS updates regarding equipment rentals, account activity, and operational alerts from JOT Equipment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe." Consent is confirmed by checking a box or clicking "I Agree."

            

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your role and operational activity. Employees and drivers may receive multiple messages per day during active dispatch periods. Vendors and contractors typically receive messages only when there is a relevant equipment request or account update. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Message and Data Rates

                Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier apply to all SMS messages sent and received. JOT Equipment is not responsible for any charges from your wireless provider.
            

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by:

Replying STOP: Text STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
Contacting Us: Email privacy@jackofoiltrades.com or call (432) 559-5688 to request removal from SMS communications.

After opting out, you may still receive critical safety-related or legally required notifications. To re-subscribe, contact us or reply START.
